Brothel - House of prostitution.  Brothels were originally attached to an army and went from location to location with the army as it marched.  Most European brothels were closed  and outlawed at the end of World War Two.  The Netherlands and Germany, did not close down all  their brothels, instead the areas in which they operate have become tourist attractions.
